Hossjoe's Dog Parks and Perks was 11 acres of beautiful hardwood forest in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the dream was to open a where you could rent dog (and people) friendly outdoor spaces. A dog friendly campground with free coffee.
Sadly, through a series of unfortunate life events, the campgrounds were never fully realized and the property was sold in May, 2026.
But the vibe lives. Hossjoe’s Dog Parks & Perks started as a big idea to 'find a better way'. A way to be happy in this life, instead of the daily grind. A way to bring people and dogs together, around me, to build a community around simple joys: fresh air, wagging tails, and a good cup of coffee.
Life shifted.Plans changed.Dreams evolve.
But at the heart of it; need for connection, being present, and the love of dogs - that dream lives.
So instead of letting the idea die, I’m letting it transform. This site is the next version of that dream: not a business, but a story.This site used to be about my dog friendly campground dream. Now it’s something simpler.
